We are excited to announce that our property name, Hotel & Villa Stare, has a new name:

PRIVILLAGE STARE

 

This is more than just a name change. It marks the evolution of our family-run hotel in Bohinj into something more intimate, more connected with nature – a boutique Alpine resort designed for peace, privacy, and authenticity.

For many years, travelers from all over the world knew us as Hotel Stare Bohinj or Villa Stare Bohinj. Nestled at the edge of Lake Bohinj, surrounded by the Julian Alps and Triglav National Park, our small hotel was known for its warmth, quiet, and personal approach.

As our property grew and evolved, so did our vision. Today, our Privillage STARE – B&B, Villa and Chalet Resort form a small alpine village – a peaceful hideaway shaped by nature and tradition. We are thrilled to share the privilege of enjoying the serene and picturesque landscape of Ukanc with you.
The inspiration for our new name comes from the combination of two words: “Village” and “Privilege“. It reflects exactly what we want to offer – the privilege of staying in a village-like resort, surrounded by nature, where every detail is designed with care.
