The Triglav Lakes are also known as the Seven Lakes or the Valley of the Triglav Lakes. Their location is in the Alpine glacier valley between Trenta and Bohinj.
Pokljuka is a high karst plateau. It is also the largest forested area in the Triglav National Park. Majority of the forest is composed of spruce trees at an elevation between 1000 and 1500 meters above sea level.
