Water Sports
- CANYONING: Canyoning takes place in Mostnica river where you can enjoy in fantastic gorges and cristal-clear water. Canyoning is usually feasible only in the summer when the level of rivers drops enough to enable safe swimming.
- KAYAK OR CANOE: Lake Bohinj and its surrounding rivers offer kayaking and canoeing opportunities.
- RAFTING: Rafting in Bohinj is usually possible in spring and autumn, sometimes also in July and August. Routes are from first to fourth degree of difficulty, approximately 10 km in length. All routes start with the easier part and end with adrenaline.
- SWIMMING: Swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Bohinj.
Winter Sports
- ICE SKATING: When the temperatures are low enough, they set up an artificial ice rink in Bohinjska Bistrica, Stara Fužina and at the Senožeta ski resort. You can rent skates at both locations. It is not allowed to skate on natural lakes.
- SLEDDING: A recreational and fun activity attracts people of all ages.
- CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING: Cross-country skiing trails are available in the Bohinj valley or higher on ski resorts. Best conditions for cross-country skiing are on Pokljuka, 30 min from Bohinj. Equipment rental is available.
